Women carry the weight of the world and are expected to do it with a smile on their face — and that’s harmful for our wellbeing.

Life is a journey, not a race to check off as many boxes as possible. We’re here to enjoy every moment.

Your life purpose doesn’t have to be a job. It’s aligning your choices with your values and living authentically, knowing you have the power to shift your life back into alignment at any time.

Money isn’t evil — you can make money doing meaningful work. The issue is when people chase money to the exclusion of meaning. Part of building an intentional life is to find ways to make money in ways that fulfill you, instead of having to choose money or fulfillment.

Obsessing over productivity so you can cram more things into your overcrowded schedule leads to getting good at doing a bunch of things that don’t matter. Do less, and you’ll get the most important things done.
Slow and simple living creates the ultimate freedom to live on your own terms.
And this is my wish for you:
That you don’t spend every day waiting until 5:30 to walk in the door and take your first real breath of the day

That you can take undistracted moments to connect with your child when they’re trying to tell you what they learnt at school

That you’ll embrace that extra 10-minutes of morning snuggle time with your partner or pet before rushing to take care of everyone

That you take a walk without your phone dinging, regularly

That you’ll actually create guilt-free spaces for rest in your everyday life, so you can sustain your slower, simpler life and flourish as the unique woman you are

“The great benefit of slowing down is reclaiming the time and tranquillity to make meaningful connections – with people, with culture, with work, with nature, and with your own bodies and minds.”

I would like to take a moment to pay my respects and acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of the land on which we are all based. I thank the elders, past and present, for helping us to shape our views of the world.
I also want to show respect to the land, its minerals, and waterways. It is their existence that has allowed us to come together in this virtual space and connect today. I hope that I can use this connection to nature in a meaningful and purposeful way during our time together.
